Mazikeen is an ageless Lilim, a species of demon who are the children of Lilith, the first wife of Adam. A loyal and faithful companion to Lucifer during his reign as King of Hell, she tortured deceased human souls for years, deriving pleasure from their pain. All until she followed Lucifer into the human realm after his abdication and derived in the pleasures God’s creations had to offer. Alcohol, sex, drugs, money.
Such sinful desires were hers for the taking and being the bartender of Lux, the most famous nightclub in the country built from scratch by Lucifer, certainly made them easier to obtain.
However, things have changed.
Lucifer’s fascination with a certain human had her reeling at how the former King of Hell could become so weak. And for a human no less. Time after time, she cleaned up his mess, feeling under appreciated for all her hard work. And so, she abandoned her position under Lucifer. She felt adventurous, travelled the world, hurt a few rotten humans along the way until she found herself back in Lucifer’s service, but this time on her terms. She had never seen him so broken until he collapsed into her chest and pleaded for her help. She couldn’t deny him the help he so dearly needed. It made her feel wanted. Despite this, she makes time for herself, Lucifer isn’t her only priority in life now. She realizes her importance as more than just the torturer of the damned or Lucifer’s bodyguard.
